After only briefly using Medangle.com, I can tell that it is a platform that fills a much-needed niche in terms of academic resources for med students in Pakistan. The question-banks themselves are of course helpful, but the fact that they’re structured uniquely according to every medical college’s curriculum and modular design should be extremely useful. In my experience, past paper resources that are proper structured questions rather than rough, memory-based, statements that carry only the gist of the question are rare to find. The self-test mode and the smart sets seem like useful ways to organize questions to make them easier to find and practice. The ability to save questions you find troublesome is also very handy. Just a brief look at the performance page shows it could be useful maintaining a daily routine of study, as seeing your grind and improvement over time displayed would help with self-assessment and motivation. In terms of criticism, I think the UI definitely has room for improvement, it has the potential to be a lot smoother and less jarring than it currently is. Although as far as I could tell the UI is definitely functional, I’m comparing the UI to the likes of khanacademy.org and codeacademy.com which I have used on occasion.
